Half Term Through

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

I am now on my 20th week of my pregnancy and everyone is really very excited that I reach my full term. My husband, as well as our parents, really make sure that I get everything I need for my baby’s growth and development. We make sure I have enough prenatal vitamins, milk, fruits and veggies that will keep me and my baby healthy. Oh we all are really very excited! Can’t wait for 20 more weeks to pass before I could see my baby and carry her in my arms.

The Critical Stage of Adolescence

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

The teen-age years is probably the most critical age in everyone’s life. This is the time when influences are scattered all around and the teens involved are not capable of straining and classifying the influences they encounter. Adolescence is a transition period that makes it critical. At this turning point from childhood to adulthood, coping up is most likely to be difficult because of so many changes brought about by this stage. Man is a social being and is thus affected by his surroundings. However, the world is definitely not nice and so many problems may arise that can make teens lost and helpless. Sometimes, the situation just gets out of control and this leads to teen depression.

Parents play an important role in this stage when teens have to handle their depression.
However, there are cases when parents are unaware of their child’s situation and just realize the problem when professional help is the only thing that can solve their child’s problem. Treatments for teen depression will not only help your child get over his depression but also for you to understand him more, to help him be strong and show him how much you care. Help your child overcome his depression before it leads to something worse.

Healthy or Beautiful?

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

A lot of people are very concerned with beauty that they even spend a lot just to have the skin tone they want, to have the latest hairstyle, to remove all the pimple marks in their face and a lot other things. On the other hand, some people are more concerned with their health. Because of this, they would intake different supplements that make the different systems of the body function well.

There is nothing wrong with being concerned with health OR beauty. In fact, it is a good thing that you want to keep the beauty in you, whether inside or out. However, it would be much better if we care for both aspects. Health and beauty usually come together. If you care for health, you also get beauty. On the other hand, being beautiful does not always necessarily mean that you’re healthy as well.

Having said that, we should always be careful with the products we use. There are already several health products that give positive effects on the skin and bring out the glow in you and using them would really be good for both your health and beauty. An example of this is Glutathione, an antioxidant that is traditionally used to protect the liver but is sometimes utilized to whiten the skin. On the other hand, choose the beauty products that will not harm your health by using organic products which are both health friendly and more effective than non-organic products.

Health and beauty are both important. So, are you healthy, beautiful or BOTH?
